This Privacy Policy explains how MoneyMarkets Ethiopia ("we", "us", "our"), operator of moneymarket.et, collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our website and services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Information you give us: your email when you join the waitlist or newsletter, and the details you submit in the data-request form (name, email, organisation, role, the data you ask for, and how you intend to use it), along with any messages you send us.
Information collected automatically: usage and device data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookie Policy). We do not knowingly collect financial account credentials, payment details, or sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not submit them.
2. How we use information
To operate and provide the Service, to respond to your data requests, and to send you the updates you have asked for; to understand usage, maintain security, and improve our content and features; and to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Legal bases
We process personal information on the basis of your consent (for example, the newsletter), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, the performance of a request you make to us, and compliance with applicable law.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process data on our behalf, such as hosting, email, and analytics providers, under appropriate confidentiality terms, or where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC), to understand in aggregate how the Service is used. Analytics are on by default so we can measure overall usage; you can turn them off at any time in Cookie Settings, and your choice is remembered on this device. We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymise it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children
The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International transfers
Where information is processed outside Ethiopia, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

The Service links to third-party websites, including the Ethiopian Securities Exchange, the Ethiopian Capital Market Authority, the Ministry of Finance, the Ethiopian Statistics Service, the National Bank of Ethiopia, licensed intermediaries, and others. Their privacy practices, content, and data handling are governed by their own policies, not this one.

We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date.
